FIR against me is a political vendetta: Tejashwi Yadav

yadav-1PATNA: While coming out of cabinet meet, Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav made it clear that there was no question of his resignation. “The graft charges imposed on me are from the time when I was a kid, probably 12 or 13, without a moustache or a beard. FIR against me is a political vendetta. From the time I have been in power, I have not done anything wrong”, the deputy CM said, making it clear the Mahagathbandhan was firm and intact. He accused both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah of hatching a political conspiracy. “Earlier, they were afraid of my father and now they are afraid of a 28-year-old”. He also said he would go to people if the need be. Talking about the corruption charges levied on him, Tejashwi said that two years of his tenure have witnessed development in Bihar and he has worked for the underprivileged. “I have worked for those who have been suppressed. I have questioned PM Modi on the promises he has not fulfilled, that is why they are taking revenge. I am being punished because I belong to the backward caste”, said Tejashwi. Even his elder brother Tej Pratap was standing with Tejashwi while the latter was briefing the media. This was the first cabinet after CBI raided RJD supremo Lalu Yadav’s residence.
